Furnas Fumaroles

The Furnas Fumaroles are a fascinating geological spectacle where the earth literally breathes hot steam, offering a rare glimpse into the underground volcanic activity of São Miguel. This field of active fumaroles, with temperatures reaching up to 100°C, reveals the living force of Azorean volcanism.
